Chelsea were held to a 1-1 equal game in the FA Cup by Birminham City as the home side failed to lift the pressure on under-fire manager Andre Villas-Boas.

David Murphy gave the Championship side the advantage, firing home after indecisive defending, Mata's spot-kick miss didn't help Chelsea's cause but the Blues fought back and equalised through Daniel Sturridge's header.
