With 36 points assigned Inter sixth, one point behind Napoli, who won 3-0 (2-0) at Fiorentina.

A double strike from Marco Di Vaio (37th and 38th) and goals from Robert Acquafresca (85) sealed the recent defeat for Inter, which had been lost last weekend 0-4 at AS Roma.
