Wayne Rooney revealed his delight at scoring two goals to condemn Liverpool to a 2-1 defeat.

He send them in the top of the Premier League table, ahead of Manchester City's trip to Aston Villa.

The 26-year-old bagged a brace in the first five minutes of the second half at Old Trafford, before controversy-magnet Luis Suarez grabbed a goal with 10 minutes remaining of the match.
