Netherlands' hopes of advancing to the Euro 2012 quarterfinals are hanging by a thread after a 2-1 lost game to Germany at Metalist Stadium on Wednesday.

Despite starting with Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder and Arsenal's Robin van Persie, the Dutch failed to find a breakthrough against a well-organised Danish defence team.
