Paul Scholes' first Manchester United goal since August 2010 put the Red Devils on course for wining over Bolton at Old Trafford in Saturday's match.

On only his second appearance since his shock retirement U-turn, the 37-year-old tapped home Wayne Rooney's cross-shot at the far-post in first-half stoppage time to give the hosts a priceless advantage after Rooney had seen his penalty saved by Adam Bogdan.
