Daniel Sturridge's ninth Premier League goal in the season cancelled out Emmanuel Adebayor's opener to ensure Tottenham and Chelsea shared the spoils after a pulsating London derby.

The result means Tottenham can justifiably claim to be London's top club at Christmas, but both sides will be disappointed by this result which sees them lose ground on leaders Manchester City.
