Marseille bounced back from their Champions League defeat against Olympiakos by hammering PSG 3-0 in Ligue 1’s showcase fixture at Stade Velodrome.

Such a heavy loss of casting Kombouare position at the top of the PSG in doubt, especially as les Parisiens have now fallen three points behind league leaders Montpellier shock. While victory in this important race Marseille has boosted morale, they remain nine points behind their major rivals in the race title.
