A goal in the final minutes of Mario Gomez (90th) allowed Bayern Munich to win at home against Real Madrid (2-1) in the semi-final of the Champions League.

Franck Ribery opened the scoring ( 17th) and Mesut Ozil had allowed the Spaniards to return to the meeting (53rd).

Bayern secured the victory late on, however, when Gomez converted a Phillip Lahm cross from close range to secure a lead ahead of the second leg.
