West Brom ended the resurgence of Sunderland with a comprehensive 4-0 win inspired by Peter Odemwingie at the Hawthorns.

The Nigerian striker scored twice for the home side at the start of both halves, with the influential James Morrison scoring the club's second goal in the 40th minute.

The win was sealed in injury time as Keith Andrews fired into the top corner to cap a perfect home debut.
