Newcastle leapfrogged Arsenal in the Premier League with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa thanks to goals from their Senegalese strike duo Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse either side of a Robbie Keane equaliser.

Ba opened the scoring in the 30th minute of the match from close range before Keane's equaliser just before half-time.

Cisse, however, found the winner goal in the 72nd minute with an absolutely stunning half-volley from the edge of the area to propel the Toon Army into fifth position in the league.
