Besiktas missed the chance to close the gap on Super Lig leaders Galatasaray to five points as they were held to a goalless equal game at basement boys Ankaragucu. The stalemate moved Besiktas up to second place, level on points with Fenerbahce, but still seven points off top spot.

Eskisehirspor had to settle for a 1-1 equal at home to ten-man Sivasspor, for whom Ricardo Pedriel equalised in the 90th minute. Sivasspor had Kadir Bekmezci sent off in the 44th minute with Diomansy Kamara opening the scoring a minute later.
