The second division Alcorcón and second division B Mirandés surprised in their first leg of the knockout stages of the Copa del Rey, by winning 2-1 at Levante and Racing 2-0.

The Madrid club was ahead by a Borja Perez both in the 12th minute of play, quickly countered by the Levantine set at 22 thanks to a goal by Miguel Pallardó, who pounced on a loose ball in front.

However, a rebound to Nagore took up the winning goal for Alcorcón, which gives options to qualify for the quarterfinals in the second leg in the field of the Levant.
