Goals scored from Gareth Bale, Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe helped Tottenham to notch their sixth straight Premier League win with a 3-0 victory against Bolton's side who had to contend with a controversial red card to centre-back Gary Cahill.

Tottenham took the advantage through Bale in the opening 10 minutes after he flicked in from close range following a Luka Modric corner. Soon after, however, Bolton found themselves down to 10-men after Cahill was shown a straight red card for a professional foul on Scott Parker.
