Goals scored from John Terry, Daniel Sturridge and Juan Mata submitted Chelsea a much-needed 3-0 victory against a Wolverhampton side who offered desperately little at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea were ahead through their captain after seven minutes and hit few roadblocks on their way to a 3-0 decision against struggling Wolverhampton, who have now won just once since the two victories they recorded at the start of Premier League season.

It did not much matter on this case, though, as Chelsea secured a confidence-boosting three points against a worryingly limited-looking Wolverhampton side.
