A late strike from former Chelsea full-back Glen Johnson helped Liverpool win against Chelsea with a 2-1 result to give the Stamford Bridge side their second home defeat in a row for the first time in over nine years in the English Premier League.

The visitors hung on for the remainder of the game and claimed a vital three points that put them level with Chelsea in the Premier League table.
