Fenerbahce closed back to within three points of Super Lig leaders Galatasaray after a 2-0 win over third-placed Besiktas.

Joseph Yobo opened the score for the home team after 14 minutes before Moussa Sow wrapped up the points in stoppage time with a debut goal following his arrival from Lille during the transfer window.

The win saw Fener keep the pressure on Galatasaray, who defeated Gaziantepspor yesterday, but was a huge blow for Besiktas, who are now nine points off the pace.
