The Netherlands at Wembley by beating England 2-3. Arjen Robben decided in the final minute the strange contest, after the British had made up a 0-2 score.

The first half was of a low level. Orange (and especially Wesley Sneijder) searched desperately for the shape of the qualifying series and the severely weakened England seemed not much better.

A few tame shots on both sides were the few highlights.
