Atletico Madrid won Stade Rennes 3-1 to take the top spot in Group I of the UEFA Europa League.

Radamel Falcao, who scored 17 goals in Porto's Europa League-victory's campaign last season, and Alvaro Dominguez netted first-half efforts for already-qualified Atletico before Arda Turan added the third 11 minutes from time.

Rennes pulled netted back through Georges Mandjeck in the 86th minute but it was nothing more than a consolation for the French side, who finished bottom of the group with just three points from their six games in Europa League.
