Athletic Bilbao won in Copa Del Rey with 1-0 at third-division Oviedo thanks to Oscar de Marcos' first-half goal, but failed to capitalize on second-half dominance.

Athletic Bilbao was able to see off Real Oviedo by a 1-0 scoring with an early goal at the the Estadio Carlos Tartiere in Oviedo.

Athletic took the advantage early on through Oscar De Marcos, who having received the ball wide on the left, cut inside and produced a great top-corner finish. He is one of the most improved players under Bielsa and has managed to play good in a number of positions.
